NAM Satellite Internet Network
Our Network
NAM uses the latest in IP and Satellite delivery systems to bring you
the best Internet services available. Our powerful Hughes Direcway
platform enables users to receive lightning-fast Internet service
anywhere in our coverage area.
Our 2-way satellite network routes IP traffic from your local PC
network via a Hughes Direcway Remote satellite terminal to a state-
of-the-art NOC facility in Dubai, UAE. From there, our redundant
fiber-based Internet connections route your IP traffic to and from its
destination on the public Internet. Return traffic is then routed back
via our satellite network to your local Hughes Indoor Receive Unit
(IRU) and then distributed to your local PC network.
Our powerful satellite broadband service supports all Internet and
IP-based applications, tools and utilities including World Wide Web
browsing, Telnet, FTP, IRC/MSN/Yahoo Chat services, and much
more.
